9-11 Honoring our Heroes, 1st Annual Whitewing Festival
Penitas Tx. was the place to be on 9-11, where we were honoring our heroes and enjoying some South Texas BBQ. This was the place for the 1st Annual Whitewing Festival. TC received 3 calls to the stage. 1st Place Beans, 3rd Place Beef Ribs, 3rd Place Pork Ribs. Family and friends came out and weathered the South Texas Heat to be with us. We had a great time and can't wait for the next one. We are headed to Elsa Texas to cook for the cause. This cook off is to support the Autism Society. We look foward to seeing our family and friends out there.

Cookin' By the Bay - Fulton 6-4-10
Team Casanova returned to cook by the bay for the 3rd Annual Git Ur Grill On Cook Off to help out the Aransas Pass 4-H. There were 34 teams present with some heavy hitters in the mix. We got called once to the stage, 8th Brisket and Final Table in Chicken. We had time to hang out with Lenny from Coastal City Smokers and Johnny Rodriguez from Puro Party. Making new friends and meeting up with old ones is what it is all about. Fulton is a beautiful place to go and cook at, looking forward to cooking again next year! We want to thank Laco & Nellie Flores and their family for showing up to support us. My cousin Rey and his wife Gracie from Austin were also there hanging out with us. They were chosen to be judges and can testify to how great some of these teams were. Robin Torres & Letty Martinez also made the trip North to the bay. We would like to thank Roy Butler and his lovely wife for joining us. Butler Wood was the proud sponsor for this event.
